In a small town called Daraken Japan, one young girl's life will change forever.
It was a bright morning in August, the foliage was bright brown and yellow on the tree branches. An alarm clock went off in a room and a hand tiredly reached over to the clock turning it off, the girl that the hand belonged to sat up in her bed and yawned tiredly. "Damn alarm clock." She groaned, picking up her eyeglasses and putting them on heading to the bathroom where she took her shower that morning. Once done, she heard her mother calling her.
"Sandy, time for breakfast!" Her mother called from the first floor of their two floor house, she had long black hair pulled back into a ponytail with two strands of hair hanging on both sides of her head. "Good morning, mom." The daughter smiled, she wore a lime green shirt with blue jeans and her white nike sneakers. Her name was Sandy Tatiyana (tah-tee-yawn-ah) and she was 14 years old, today she was gonna go to high school. Sandy had a secret that only her mother Yumiko (yuu-mii-koh) has known about her whole life. Sandy was a half-breed, a half breed is not a person but not an animal. In fact, half-breeds were both part human and part animal but they stay hidden away from the rest of society attempting to live out their lives as normal humans which is harder than it seems.
Sandy's mother Yumiko was human, however her father was a half-breed but died before she was born. They sat down to breakfast which was some eggs and bacon, Sandy dug into the eggs with her fork, munching on them. "I can't wait mom, a new school is waiting for me to enter its' halways." She happily munched, her mother looked at her. "I know honey, but do you know exactly where this school is?" Yumiko asked, Sandy froze and laid her head on the table. "I have no idea at all." Sandy groaned.
"Don't worry, I managed to put a map I drew out myself in your backpack." Yumiko smiled, Sandy finished her breakfast slinging her backpack over her shoulder and put it on. "Thanks, mom." Sandy smiled, she put on her hat which was a big black beret to hide her small black cow horns and ears. "I'm off to school, see ya later." Sandy left her house, following the map her mother gave her. "I wonder what this new school will be like?"

This is the first page to the fanfic that follows the comic, it has a few extra things like extra dialogue and I like it. What do you guys think?
