~The Run In~

It is noon in Leona and a young girl with brown hair is walking around looking, she continues walking until she sees a boy with blonde hair in a braid wearing a red jacket start looking at her, they both stare at each other until he waves at her and smiles, she does the same and a person in a suit of armor walks with him out of her sight. She continues walking and two thugs start following her and she starts to walk faster, they did the same. She started to run and they ran after her, she ran into a crowd and not looking where she was going, she almost runs into someone. "Look out!!!" She yells to the boy, but he couldn't move out of the way fast enough. "AAAAHHHH!!!!" He yells, both of them hit each others heads and fall on the ground. "Ow." She says, rubbing her head where he hit her. "You okay?" He asks, she nods and he helps her up and she continues to run. She runs into an alley and realizes it was a dead-end.

"Uh oh, I'm trapped." She says horrified, she turns around to see the men right behind her. "Like a rat." The first thug says, he was holding a small pocketknife and smirks evilly. "Get ready for a beating." The second thug says who was holding a rusty screwdriver, she screams out of sheer terror. The blonde boy and the person in the armor were sitting on a fountain when they hear it in the distance. "Did you hear that, brother?" Asks the person in the armor.
"Sounds like someone's in trouble, come on." The blonde boy says, they get to the alley and realize that the girl they ran into earlier is unconscious and beaten to a pulp. The last thing she sees before she completely blacks out is a boy with blonde hair standing in front of her, a few hours later she's laying in a hospital bed. "Huh?" She says waking up, she sees the blonde boy and the armor person sitting by the bed. "I see your finally awake, you had quite an accident back there." The boy tells Sam. "Where am I?" She asks them, sitting up. "At the hospital." The boy in the armor says. "Oh, well thank you for saving me, and your name is..." Sam asks them, rubbing her head. "I'm Alphonse Elric." He says, introducing himself. "And I'm Edward, Al's older brother." He announces to her, Sam snickers a little and Ed notices. "What's so funny?" He asks her. "For a second there, I thought you said older brother." Sam says, Ed is about to attack her but Al holds him back. "Let me at her, let me at her!" Ed yells, flailing his arms and legs fiercely.

"Calm down, Ed." Al says calmy. "Hey Ed? What's with the cross-thingy on your jacket?" Sam asks Ed. "Oh, that's the symbol of alchemy." Ed tells Sam, she was confused. "Alchemy???" Sam asks confused. "You don't know what alchemy is???" Al asks her. "Here, let me explain." Ed says, the boys explain the science of it and Sam is intrigued. "Wow. Quick question, what were you two doing when I bumped into you?" She asks them confusedly. "Me and Al were on our way to Central." Ed explains to her, Sam looks at both of them. "I want to go with you." She says, the boys looked at her confused. "I want to learn about alchemy." Sam says, Ed sighs and shakes his head. "It's too dangerous." Ed simply says. "Nothing is too dangerous for Samantha Illumiss." She says confidentally. "Your already in a hospital so your not coming with us and that's final!!!" Ed yells angrily at her. "Fine!!!" Sam says, she gets out of bed and starts to walk away weakly. "Your so mean, Ed." Al says to him, Ed just huffs. "She's injured Al, think of how worse she'll get in Central." Ed explains, but the look in Al's eyes makes Ed give in. "Fine, you can come with us." Sam smiles happily and does a happy stance. "Yay, thank you Edward." Sam hugs Ed and he gets mad. "Hug me again and you die." Ed says annoyingly, Sam let's go quickly. "Sorry." She simply says, the three of them are walking down the dirt path to Central. "Now that I have you guys, I can travel safely to Central now." Sam says happily, Ed wasn't too pleased with having a girl tag along. "We'll take you to Central, but then your on your own." Ed instructs her, Sam nods. "Brother, be nice." Al says, Ed crosses his arms over his chest.
